Sierra Valencia is an artist who grew up in Manistee, Michigan; a lakeshore town surrounded by the Great Lakes and the Manistee National Forest.
There her love for nature and animals began. Her artwork explores flora, fauna and the female form in vibrant colors using mixed media, chalk pastels and various printmaking techniques. She graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design, receiving the Mickey Shapiro Scholarship, Kendall Excellence Scholarship from Ferris State University/Kendall College of Art and Design. She also got a scholarship from and completed a workshop at Anderson Ranch Arts Center.
After Sierra graduated she started her tattoo apprenticeship in June of 2025 and is currently tattooing clients to improve her skills. Sierra likes to create themed flash designs and she is so excited to learn all kinds of tattooing styles. In the future she hopes to create custom tattoos that explore nature and femininity similar to what is seen in her mixed media art.
Most of all she wants and hopes to create artwork for people that makes them feel more confident in themselves.
