1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a consultation or appointment, submitting a deposit, or otherwise engaging with Siren’s Rose Tattoo Studio ("Siren's Rose," "we," "us," or "our") and our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). These Terms govern all interactions between you and Siren's Rose.

2. Appointment and Deposit Policy

A. Deposits and Booking

All appointments and custom design work require a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit paid in advance.

  • The deposit secures your appointment date and time and compensates the artist for their time spent on your design, even if the appointment is canceled.
  • The deposit amount will be communicated to you prior to booking and will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo during the last session.

B. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Notice Requirement: You must provide at least 7 Days advance notice to reschedule your appointment or a portion of your deposit will be forfeited. See FAQ page for additional information.
  • Deposit Forfeiture: Your deposit will be forfeited (and a new deposit required to book) if you:
    • Fail to provide the required notice for rescheduling or cancellation.
    • Arrive more than 30 mins late to your appointment.
    • Fail to show up for your appointment (No Call/No Show).
    • Change the design concept or placement after the artist has already prepared the custom artwork.

3. Pricing and Payment

A. Pricing Structure

Tattoo services are priced based on the artist's current rate determined during the consultation, depending on the complexity, size, and style of the design.

B. Final Payment

  • Final payment for services rendered is due upon completion of the tattoo session.
  • We accept cash and all major credit cards. [Note any payment fees if applicable].

C. Follow Ups

Please note we do not offer a free touch up appointment to any tattoo. We do offer very discounted follow up appointments within the first 6 months after your initial tattoo. 

4. Custom Design and Intellectual Property

A. Design Ownership

  • The Artist Retains All Rights: All custom artwork and designs created by a Siren's Rose artist remain the intellectual property of that artist, even after the tattoo is applied.
  • Permission to Use: You are granted the right to display the design as a permanent tattoo on your body. You may not reproduce, replicate, or use the design for any other commercial purpose (e.g., merchandise) without the artist's explicit written consent.

B. Design Changes

  • Clients are responsible for communicating all design ideas clearly during the consultation.
  • One layout design is included with your tattoo session for free. These designs are available via email at least 24 hours in advance of your appointment. Simple changes will be accommodated in a timely manner or during your tattoo session. If you require more substantial design changes than can be completed in that time I may require a re-designing fee and we will reschedule your appointment for another day.  If your appointment is scheduled less than one week in advance, artists may not have time to send you a drawing before your appointment. We thank you for your understanding.
  • Design packages are available for those who would like a more inclusive design process to assure a stunning tattoo.  These include multiple designs, photo visualizations and 3D modeling of their ideas. Please see our website or speak with your artists for more information on design packages.

C. Use of Tattoo Images

You grant Siren's Rose and its artists the right to photograph your tattoo and use those photographs for promotional purposes, including use on our website, social media, and portfolios, without further compensation to you.

5. Studio Policies and Client Conduct

A. Health and Safety

  • You must provide accurate and truthful health information on all required intake and consent forms.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we believe is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or whose health condition may compromise the safety of the tattooing process.
  • We strictly adhere to all Michigan state laws regarding tattooing minors. Clients must be 18 years of age or older with valid photo identification to be tattooed.
  • The use of numbing agents ream is prohibited in the state of Michigan with a prescription from your doctor.  If you show up to your appointment prenumbered you will refuse service and forfeit your deposit. 

B. Companions

Due to space and safety constraints, we request that you do not bring children or more than one adult companion to your tattoo appointment.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them will be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any claims shall be adjudicated in the courts located in Van Buren County, Michigan.
